Highland and Moray Area - (locally known as Hi-5s) - have taken on new Joint Area Co-ordinators (Feb 2012) in the form of Frankie and Brian. We are new to this game but are full of enthusiasm and are hoping to bring some new life to the area.
Our pub meets are held in the Craigmonie Hotel on Annfield Road, Inverness, on the first Monday of the month and will start at 7pm if you wish to join us for a pub supper. The official part of the meeting will take place at 8pm, after which we will retire to the bar.
We hope to arrange at least one run / event every 4-6 weeks with optional "chippie runs" in between! As well as group runs, we intend visiting local car shows and arranging social events not necessarily including cars!
We appreciate that we have members spread out across a vast area, from Shetland to Oban and from Elgin to the Western Isles and everything in between! We will work on meeting them once we are better established, probably with runs around the region in the summer.
We look to the membership to join us with their ideas and comments. We also invite prospective members to come along and meet us and decide whether they want to join in the fun. We look forward to meeting you all shortly.
