Areas
The MX-5 Owners Club is organised by Areas across the country. One of it's greatest strengths is the network of Area Co-ordinators who organise local meetings, runs, track days, social gatherings and other events. The Areas publish a monthly newsletter for local members, and there are Area websites that provide up-to-date information on forthcoming local, national and international events and feature reports on past get-togethers.

The South West Midlands Area Coordinator, Ellie Peberdy, is ably assisted by a small team of enthusiastic Members who help make the job of running this active Area so much easier and enjoyable. The team includes Jon Peberdy (STHT/Newsletter), Alan Wilson (Meetings) and Chris Wood (Website/Drives). Our monthly meetings are normally held from 19:00 on the first Thursday of each month. Most Members take the opportunity to dine at the venue. Some even take to drink! As well as monthly meetings we arrange regular drives and events. As you will appreciate, the winter months do not lend themselves to open air driving, so January and December tend to get a miss. There is also a break for the main holiday month of August. Drives are normally held on the Sunday seventeen days following the monthly meeting. As for the geography of our Area, the main concentrations seem to be Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester.
