We will be driving through some of Suffolk & Essex’s most picturesque villages, stopping at Clare Castle Country Park where you can look around the visitors centre containing displays on the history of the castle, the railway and the natural environment or have a stroll though the park. At the entrance to the car park there is an antique shop where they serve cream teas, coffees and homemade scones with jam & clotted cream, open from 11am. Finish at Hatfield Forest there is an entrance fee of £5.00. National Trust members will be able to enter for free. Food and drink is also available at Hatfield Forest.
