This is the first meeting of the year and we will be planning our activities for the coming year so please come along with your suggestions.

Will be there; should be on a week of 'lates' this week but I'll come up with a good excuse and pretend I have to do something during the day!

 We should be there i'll put my thinking cap on and see what i can come up with.

We all saw your thinking cap in Suffolk so have high expectations!

               Well you could have a point!!!!

Thanks to all who came along to Club Night last night.  A really good turnout. I hope you made our many new members welcome.

I thought it worked really well being in the Restaurant.  A much better atmosphere and made us more 'together' as a group.

I spoke to Stuart (the Landlord) after the meeting and he said that he was pleased to see that our group had grown so much and that with so many members now we can 'book' the Restaurant for our meetings.  If we eat in there he will direct other diners to the bar area.  We can then conduct our usual discussions in the restaurant together with our non-diners. (His problem last night was that the tables were all laid up and we went in before his team had a chance to clear them, meaning the cutlery all had to be washed again and serviettes thrown away.  Shouldn't be a problem for next time).

So, do you think the Restaurant is a better venue?  If so I will try and book it for next time. It may even encourage more members to eat there.
