North Thames Run to Brighton - 7th March 2010

Postponed from 17th January, this is a joint areas run and is always very popular. The meeting point is at Ockham Common, just off the A3.  There will be a North Thames convoy to Ockham departing around 8.15 from the M25 Services at Lakeside. It's about a 45 minute run.
Last year approx. 40 cars left from Ockham and a further 30 met at Brighton.
Quite a sight on Marine Parade.

"Here’s your chance to get together with like-minded people and, with luck, enjoy a drive down to the coast in crisp winter sunshine.   We will meet at Ockham Common Visitors Centre, Boldermere Car Park, Old Lane, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1ND.  This is on the A3 just south of Junction 10 of the M25 (you have to approach it from the slip road off the roundabout of the A3/M25 junction). Get there from 09:00 with the aim of leaving at 10:00. In the car park is ‘Ockham Bites’ who can turn out a mean bacon or sausage buttie.  If you want breakfast, then arrive early as it takes time for the one person on duty to cook to order.  Clean toilets are also available. From here we’ll be driving down to Brighton for a spot of fish & chips by the sea.  Wrap up well!
Last year, Sarah from South East area booked a huge area for us in the fish & chip restaurant on the Pier, so we’ll need an idea of numbers interested in that too."

As stated above, we need to know numbers to arrange the catering, so if you would like to come along please post below or e-mail me at eric.terry@mx5oc.co.uk and I will add you to the list.  I will send final details of the North Thames meeting point and a copy of the route nearer the day.
