Does anyone local know how to get wires through the doors into the cabin? I've tried today (fitting central locking to Mum's car) but it's just impossible!!
Mk 1 or Mk 2?
use a single wire as a draw wire and then tap the others to the single wire you should go through then ok.

I tried this, I managed to get a draw wire through but it was really hard and once I'd taped the wires to it, it was far too big to fit back through the grommit.

The best way is to get someone else to do it.
