 Hi all,

newbee here, my 5 is now ready to be painted. i have the paint and if there is somebody out there or you know somebody, she just needs spot putty to finish.

i can email pics if needed.

i am close to birmingham airport.

the work is rear quarter panel and the drivers door(stripped of bits), plus both sills as i don't like the black finish.

 I dont know what body shops charge these days but im going DIY with my spray job.

 my paint guy charges £700 for a full respray - hardtop , underbonnet , door shuts etc

takes 2 weeks and does an excellent job

ive done 3 diy resprays and although they have turned out really well each have taken me 3 weeks plus.

Its alot of work and much easier to do with your bankcard

Speak to Sam Goodwin in Nuneaton; he uses a number of body shops in the area, who charge very reasonable rates. But, you might be better off waiting a month of so for the weather to warm up, so that you get a better finish.
