PAST EVENT - The 2010 Ken Stanbury Fish and Chip Run - Sun 28th March

It's that time of year once again, Ken Stanbury and the guys and gals of the Northampton area will be raiding the Eastern Region in order to find the best fish and chips!

Over the last few years this event has grown from strength to strength, with 90 or so MX-5's descending on Cromer last year, and a good time had by all.

This year the run returns to Southwold Harbor, with a few pick up points along the way, the Fens owners joining at Brampton Hut Services and the Rest of the ER will rendezvous at West Stow Country Park.

The Convoy will be arriving at Brampton Hut @ 09:15

Then at West Stow Country Park @ 10:30

I would suggest getting there 15mins or so early to give some time for a chin wag/comfort break.

Please Note: The Clocks Go Forward 1 Hour During the Night Before This Run!

    See you there.

    Jamie and Claire

Well i'm not the kind to kiss and tell, but i've been seen in a mk2......

And don't rely on the cafe at West Stow for refreshment, it was very busy and slow on Sunday...  Wink

     Evening!

Is there a route for this run? Just thinking it would be easier (and more environmentally friendly!!) to pick everyone up closer to home rather than driving towards BSE just to come back again!

    Ta muchly!

Ken posted the route from West Stow on Page 41 of STHT.
It's B1106 to Great Barton, A143 to Harleston, B1123 to Halesworth then A12 onto the A1095 into Southwold.

What time will the majority or people be arriving in Halesworth, I might pick every on up there. Going to struggle to get up early due to a big night out but I don't want to miss it.

Timings are a real issue with this run, as there are so many people coming from so far.

I would take a "best guess" and when you get there ask any one standing around if 90 or so MX5's have just gone past!

Plus it may take quite a few minutes for 90 or so MX-5s to actually go past Geek

     Sam and I will be at West Stow Country Park {#emotions_dlg.smile}

It will be our first run of the year, so hoping for good weather!

Does anyone one have a PDF of the route plan as I can't locate my STHT?
