Heading for the Tunnel in the 5'vster tomorrow from South Wales and then almost 2weeks on the Mosel tour. Wave count begins at 10:00 so let's see what we can muster by the 13th May???

Got a wave back from a light blue Mk 2.5 yesterday, both had our hoods down, it was dry but a bit chilly

Success on friday. Going into Newport Pagnell got a red mk1 on my way to work, then heading out of Milton Keynes that evening a silver mk1, followed by a burgundy/dark red mk3 on way towards Aylesbury way. Three in a row! I was grinning like a Cheshire cat Dancing

On fri I finally got a wave and a flash of lights. I've got a mk 2.5 silver and got a nice reply from a mk 2 silver in wallington, surrey. I had given up for ages and thought why not! Thanks so much you made me smile at the end of a bad week. I have kept going since hoping for the next one.

On my way from Oundle via Wansford towards Peterborough where I work, in my Splash Green Mk2,  a dark blue Mark 3 driver waved but i only saw him at the last minute, apologies for not responding, it's usually me who waves first!

I was waved at the other day and I haven't even had my car a week!  I'm afraid I didn't wave back as I was a bit slow Sad

Re: Waving to fellow-mx5 drivers must be made law

Of all the 5's I've seen, I've only ever had two wave back. One was a Mk3 and the other a 2.5 in Market Bosworth.

They must wonder who this waving loony is. Huh?

I've given up. Just back from the western highlands of Scotland, couldn't even get a return wave in that part of the worls (well, only one, but that's on a par with my home ground)
