Had a couple of waves since getting the NC but not as many as i used to get in my old NA

Got a wave yesterday around the Whitby area A174 or 171 I think, I wasn't taking too much notice of what road I was on, I just knew I was going in the right direction and having fun. He was in a dark blue mk. 3 if I remember correctly (again I wasn't taking too much notice). He had the roof down and gave a hand in sky wave. Today in the opposite direction coming from Scarborough heading towards Whitby on the A171 a black mk. 3 with the roof up gave a wave.

I had my roof down on both occasions although for a few minutes today I didn't think it was a great idea as the hail stones bounced off my bonce numerous times much to the dismay of my pain thresholds.

Woohoo! We got another 3 'waves' Sunday in Kempston. 2 x mk2's and a mk3. Great stuff.

I'm a biker too, so have to do the biker nod. Better not get muddled up with the nods, flashes and waves.

I do the same, regardless of what I'm driving. don't half get some funny looks, especially when on the continent and I try the bikers foot waggle in the MX5.

I'm on the weights for my waving arm, as we're off to the Pendennis Castle Rally on Friday, will be waving my little socks off for 3 days. Bet Caroline waves to untold Porsce Boxters and Audi TT's by mistake :o)

 I think it might have been some one going home from Ludlow, we were on our way home from Prescott, we had our top down but they did not  one of our members had a wave from some one on the M5.

 I had my second wave in 2 weeks yesterday. A grey mk 2 or 2.5. Was too surprised at the wave to notice. I had my roof down and think it is harder for them to ignore the wave (maybe). On my way to Cornwall in a minute for the 5.5 hour drive so hoping for many waves on the way.

Great day today, managed 3 return waves out of a possible 5!

come on name and shame that mk3(.5) who dared wave....

for what it's worth, had more non-waves from non-mk3rs in the last week in and around Cornwall
not like they couldn't see me as 99% of my driving was in a line with other 5rs

Seen 4 other 5s while out in the sun today, 3 of them waved back.

But my wife isn't too impressed as every time I'm flashing and waving at other 5s I'm not concentrating on my driving and on a couple of occasions I've nearly hit something
