Sevenoaks & District Motor Club's sprint returns to Crystal Palace Park on Sunday 30th & Monday 31st May 2010.

We last ran our event in 2000, but now we are back and hope to carry on the reputation that the event was building until they decided to alter some of the roads.

Will be a great weekend, with static displays as well as the action on track and for the little ones, even Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris will be there on the Sunday!

A wildly varying entry list will range from older cars that raced at Crystal Palace in the past, right through to some modern eco-electric machinery.

All welcome - would be great to see a whole bunch of fivers in the crowd.

Just to bring this back to the top for a bit.

Going to be a good couple of days at Crystal Palace but if you are quick, there may still be some entry places left for those wishing to compete. Would be nice to see some more modern classics driven in anger!

A month on and just a week to go so a subtle reminder is due.

All preparations are well underway so it WILL be a great event. Doubt the weather will be as good as this weekend but that won't affect anything.

Hope to see some MX5s in the spectator park - forgot to ask if there will be a 5 stand in the display area.

We felt the whole weekend went off very well and even the weather gods tolerated our efforts.

The car clubs display area was busy - maybe a 5 stand next year?
