    Couldn't find the group :-(

Hi all. Just got back from the Barley Mow. Called in and saw 7 mx's on the car park. Great stuff. However didn't know anyone and after asking 3 groups of people if they were the MX folk and getting strange looks decided to call it a night.

My fault I know however is there any way of idenifying the group to strangers coming into the pub?

Hope you all had a great meeting otherwise, great to see the cars on the car park with roofs down. Maybe summer is coming....Big Smile

Hi Phil and anyone else who couldn't find the MX-5 group tonight!

Really sorry that you couldn't find us. We discussed this at the meeting b'cos we were tucked away right at the back of the pub.  We're going to make some posters to point people in the right direction for the next meeting.

We used to meet in a really big crowded pub. I made a pennant wth Eastern Region on it and flew it from  pole screwed into a Gates Mariner Blue roadster. Set in the middle of the table. I sympathise with the op here, it's very difficult the first time. I remember wandering around like a lost soul, eventually gave up and went outside, when a guy arrived in the car park in a BRG '5, the rest as they say is history---
