get this! I had a text today from my insurance company reminding me that 'its that time of year again', so I rang them and they kindly told me that as I am a valued customer and i've been with them for such a long time (sincee last June!) they'll let me have this years insurance for the same price as last years!! so I tells them that I had actually had a quote elsewhere which was £30 cheaper, they not only agreed to match it, but actually did it for another £25 less!! just goes to show how much of a mark up they actually put on!  grrr  Rant over, thanks for listening!!

 Ha tell me about it got renewal for mine bearing in mind insure 3 cars with them, looked same company (Churchill) same details and just over £100 cheaper so phoned told only way cure that is to cancel policy and buy on net ??? then they sent letters of cancellation an witht freepost envalope and seperate renewal !! and they say try to keep osts down

marvellous isn't it!! I just hope she passes the MOT now........ going to get her booked in for next week when I'm off work

Yeah, my girlfriend had a similar thing happen last month. They originally gave her a renewal for £296.00 .... After phoning them up to say she could get it cheaper elsewhere they could suddenly do the same insurance for £209.00 !!! Why couldn't they just do it for that in the first place. Always best to call them to see if a deal can be done.
