You all seem to be very passionate about the NWM club. As an outsider or should I say a newcomer what did the area controller do before disapearing ? [this isn't meant as a sarcastic question ]

and maybe you could take turns to act as the AC until a more permanent solution occurs

Hi All.

Sorry about the few problems lately, I'm sure it will all get sorted in good time. Meanwhile, I think we need to stay focused on the region and us. We have today reserved the same area at the Barley Mow at Milford Common for Wednesday 23rd June for our meeting. I know it was discussed at the last get together that it may be nice to hold the meeting on the common, but I think under the current cicumstances we should stay at the Barley Mow for now. We obviously need to discuss certain subjects, so I think we need an extra effort to get as many members together as possible. I know that it is awkward for some to attend, so if they have any ideas or suggestions, you can always e-mail them to me direct and they shall be mentioned at the meeting. ( markstuart007@btinternet.com ) It would be really nice to see even more people than before, especially now the weather is more consistant. Come on let's keep the momentum going !

Ref your change of venue problem.  Its a pain but someone should pop in to the old place, or be there at the advertised meet point, or even alert the landlord of the change.   We have changed venues before, and had it advertised in all the right places and still found people going to the old place months later!   People pick up old mags or newsletters, look at old web pages etc.. it happens however hard you try....

It's very impressive to see the effort people are making to keep things going - you shouldn't have a problem getting a new AC if need be - looks like there's lots of enthusiasm!

I'm in this area but have been out of action for a while. I'm aware of where the meetings are and was surprised to see the wrong information in the latest magazine. I'm sure there is a very good reason why AC is out of touch at the moment.

Just a thought but do you think next Wednesday is a good date for a meeting?

Yes, we had already checked the England fixtures. Nicely spotted Teri! Hopefully we'll be celebrating on the night on more than one count.

 I only know cos the boss is chucking us out early to watch the match!!

being new to this could someone tell me what time you meet and I'll do my best to get there on Wednesday. but seeing I'm currently parked in a layby at the side of the A31 it might be unlikely

Back of lounge down steps should be posters up and fare amount noise hope you can make it we and few others would say most get there 7.30ish to eat reasonable prices and MXicans round I think !! meeting and talking usually 8.30 hope see you there
