Thanks to John (Wattie) for spotting this one. It is part of the Malvern Camping Caravan & Classic Car weekend and should make for a lovely drive and a cheap and cheerful day out!

The entry cost per car is £6.50 per day, but if you book in advance by the 23rd July, you only have to pay £3.00. To do so click on the following link www.classicshows.org and print off the Classic Car Booking Form 2010 and return to the address shown PRIOR to the 23rd July.

Refreshments and food are available, but the grounds are lovely if you choose to take a picnic.

John has very kindly offered to organised the route so we can travel in convoy. We will let you know full details ASAP so watch this space. In the meantime it would be great to have an idea of numbers so please let us know if you would like to attend, as there's a possiblity that we can all park together to promote the Club at the show.

 Hi Mark I should be able to join you on the 1st aslong as I don't get held up to much as I'm now driving in Europe again ( thats in the truck not the mx5, shame really )

I have spoken to the Classic Car Organisers today, as they've now updated their website with details of the Malvern show and it seemed a little different from the information they'd previously given over the phone. To clarify then, a club can qualify for the entrance fee of £3.00 if 75% of the cars are pre 1995. The deadline for this is by sending a booking form by the 23rd and it's worth having a go as they're expecting a number of applications from our club. If not the charge will be £6.00 per person.

Details of meeting points for the convoy will be confirmed in due course once we are fully aware of who is attending the event.

Final details as follows:-

We shall meet on Sunday at Longford Island retail park (next to Mcdonalds) on the A5 at Cannock 9.20am and leave at 9.30am prompt. We shall be using John's route to Malvern, which he has kindly arranged for us. The trip takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. Anyone who wishes to attend, will they PLEASE let me know so that we don't leave anyone behind.

For those who haven't pre-booked tickets, the entrance fee is £6.00 per person. There are plenty of facilities at the show for food & refreshments. I believe that there is also an antiques fair.

We're back! Brilliant, thankyou all for a great day. Great to see so many people turn up. 9 cars, great convoy, great company. Well done Ian for coming runner up in his class. I reckon he would have won if he'd topped up his washer bottle.(only joking)!
