I can't imagine the logistics involved, but, just when you think you've seen everything ,wow, those roads and views take some beating.
I believe Mk3.5s have now gone on sale in China proper (as opposed to HK). But here is a Chinese Mk1; they also got Roadster imports. Horrible problems with the rear plates though:

Having seen the state of most of the roads and the way they drive in China, I can't imagine taking my own car there ;-)
