MX-5 OC Forum

Alternative Tech Day, Instead of car technology this will be PC technology! Need to get to grips with the new forum? Need to register on the Club Web-site? Want to know how to post pictures on the forum or convert that document into a PDF? This is your chance to find out how, we will have a wi-fi connection and several laptops with a projector or why not bring your own? The venue is the Countryman PH on the main A140 at Tasburgh, Norfolk. Gary the ever-helpful landlord has agreed to stay open all afternoon for us to use the establishment for the Tech day and also to serve early evening meals from his regular menu for those of us who work up a hunger!  The afternoon will start at about 1 O’clock and I cant think of a better way to spend a cold winter afternoon than in the pub! Other than the drive there and back of course! please let me now either on here or by e-mail jamie@mx5easternregion.co.uk if you plan to come along.

That seems to be an excellent idea for the ER members, if I didn't live so far away I would have been asking for an invite.

Perhaps we need an Eastern Region Alternative Tech Day Road Show. ?   Could always try to do something at the Spring Rally,  you going Polly ?

Perhaps somebody could compile an idiots guide 'sheet' that we could print off and keep by our Computers.

I have found a thread that managed to tell me how to put new paragraphs in, but thats about as far as I have managed with this new forum and I am quite computer literate

I might have to pop along here, but will have to come as a waypoint for my trip to Nottingham for work, so if anyone would like to offer Tom a lift back to Colchester, then he can come too, we are both IT geeks, so can offer assistance too on any IT issues you might have.  (also I might bring a spare MacBook Pro laptop I seem to have for sale)

It'll be a good chance to show off my new shiny mk3 too.
