MX-5 OC Forum

Whooooo

Can we get the forum added to tapatalk? This is the top forum app on the iPad/iPhone. Loads of other mx5 forums are on there. So many I didn't realise existed. Ones like mx5italia and Atlanta, mx5nutz etc. 

This one should be on there being the (from my point of view) the number one forum. 

 As said previously Tapatalk doesn't support this forum software. That said, they are perfectly happy to release the API for it so that people can create their own plugins.

Do we have anyone on the forum with the relevant skills? It would be a big advantage to be able to use Tapatalk.

So, what's changed? I can create a new post on my Ipad, but can't enter any text

still fine on my iPad. Try restarting safari - press home, then double press home. On the screen press and hold safari (in the little bar) then click the cross. Pres home again then open safari as normal.

Hi . I have an iPhone and can reply to posts . This is how I do it . write your reply in your notes . Copy it . Go to the post that you want to reply to . Click reply . When the screen comes up click on the icon next to the scissors that's like two pieces of paper . Now hold your finger on the window where you normally write and  post and paste what you have written from the notes. The title always works as normal you can just write that by clicking on it as you should . Try this on an iPhone . It works for me . 

seems holdind the menu button works for me on my android :-)

After ios5 iPhones and iPod's and iPads have native support. Just tap and type.

I turned it off and back on and it seems fine,thanks guys

Works just fine for text but still can't post picture from photobucket, but that could be me doing it wrong

That's interesting, I posted an image from PB!  and it doesn't show. If I edit the post the pic is there???

Now I'm going to have to try that but maybe in the 'just testing ' section for the forum and a bit later when I'm not at work. Did you manage to copy paste the image code direct or use the insert option.

You can reply now using the iPad but it's not straight forward. Select the HTML icon ,disable the word wrap enables the update button ,re enable word wrap, Type your message when you've finished click update.

Not sure about this information, but I'm sure it's good. I have been using an iPad2 for almost a year now and I simply press "reply" on a post then I choose to add a quote and simply type away. Never had an issue.

I tapped on the pb thumbnail, got the image options, touched the img and it said copied. Went to the forum and pressed in the reply section and got a paste option, tapped on that and the picture was displayed. Sent the mail and nothing nada nix
