Re: MX-5 OC Driving Roads Map

I've done this run this week and I have to say it's awesome. Both roads are some of the best driving roads around with spectacular views.  I'll be doing this one again.

This one from SmilerFTM. I realised after I'd posted it that the message I had replied to wasn't shown.

Just did this run today (twice) and had a great time. The run from Helmsley to Stokesley on the B1257 was particularly good fun while the back road from the A171 through Castleton and Hetton-Le-Hole was also bloody marvelous however care had to be taken on that particular road as I didn't want a sheep shaped indentation on the front of my 5 (plus it was a bit wet). I will be doing this run again in a couple of weeks or so, work is going to prevent an earlier return, and so will try and take pictures next time.

Try this one, getting to Pickering along the A170 can be a bit slow and the A169 can be traffic heavy but the bit from Grosmont to Hutton-Le-Hole is entertaining at times with some steep inclines to go up and down (also has great views), be careful though as the road is mostly very narrow and there is occasional oncoming traffic and usually appearing while going around blind corners a plenty

I've modified the route slightly to miss out the A169, fords and tight roads aplenty instead of the traffic heavy 169.

Think I may need to head out on Tuesday morning to do this again, must have been two months since I last headed into the Moors which is far too long

It looks great.  I'll give this one a go when we get some decent weather.
