Hello George, yeah, it's been a bit wet hasn't it! Still, it's great around here regardless, you need to be used to rain living in North Wales and we are blessed with some great driving roads as I'm sure you'll know from using the bike !

I'll keep a look out for your 5 as my partner and I run around in ours. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do ours. We've had it almost a year now and it's going for an MoT on Monday, fingers crossed !

Re: Where have you been today?

Sorry Liz, Simon but it was very much a last minute decision to go, to be honest I hadn`t realised it was RIAT last weekend, I read this thread about a wonkey donkey early yesterday morning, got on google, woke Mrs Eunos and made up a pic-a-nic basket and flask, quick shower and we were away by 9am- rapid-deployment so to speak...... a bit of local knowledge of Fairford area came in handy and we parked up at a `park-and-view` field full of happy campers and stayed with the car for the whole afternoon, hence the `free airshow` with live commentary on 87.7fmThumbs up we both have lovely T-shirt suntans Cool

I think £39 for an adult ticket ts a bit excessive really, especially in these timesThumbs Down

Next time it would be great if western area organised a camping weekend and discounted entry tickets, similar to when we went to Dunsfold last year with the PlanetMX5 guys?

Re: Where have you been today?

I spent the weekend at RIAT (I work there on base), one of the best seats in the house. Local camping sites were quagmires, cars and vans were having to be towed to their pitches, Sat' weather was a bit iffy.

Re: Where have you been today?

    Great setting, Git Thumbs up

Would love to go to RIAT - generally, one of the big shows
Last year, rain prevented much play at Cosford

This year, went to, porbably, one of the smallest shows - at Welshpool but got to see the Red Arrows and BBMF (sans Hurricane) and the Falcons dropped in.
All great stuff and it stayed dry

This Sunday just gone, SWMOC was back on the trail of the world of Soap Box Derbys
So, managed to get over to support the team and the region's gravity racer Mazdapiece.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AETWdEkKJfc

    90% glorious sunshine
    10% deluge
Thankfully, the latter came at the end
And, we had a couple of blasts up part of the course along with suped Anglia, Caterham, Westfields, Minis, Bimis etc.
All good practise for Prescott Wink

Not sure of the result but i believe da boys did well Thumbs up
