We had a brilliant day! - my father enjoyed everything - especially the Heritage Museum, and Dave Coates & Russ Swift.

Well done to all the 5's that made an effort to turn out ~ think I counted 22? ~ enjoyed the chat with those I had time to meet... - especially getting the background on the black LeMans car.

Thanks Paul for a great day out! - free tickets was a bonus! Cheers!

My thanks also to Paul for organising this. It was good to meet up with a number of other club members at last....and perfect weather. My son still has a fixed grin on his face from the 20 min ride he had in a Sporting Bear's Westfield...brilliant.

Thanks again for Paul's organisation and communication back to me a few hours before we arrived, great timing and worked a treat.
Cracking day, no fuss, no drama, just chillin' throughout. No excessive sunburn this morning too, yay! Cool

A good turnout of MX-5s and some really cool stuff you don't see often.
    A few pics here <<clicky>>

Thanks also to the Phoenix Fives crew for their warm welcome as ever, Steve (raydar27) for extra sunblock too.

I think we timed the gazebo dismantling just right, as going back up the M40 the skies went dark. So off at the Stow A429 pulling in behind an Beemer drop top, whilst they did their electric hood up, I'd done mine, was off again, turning around and heading back up to the M40 whilst they were still parked up. Stick out tongue

Well that was bl**dy brilliant !!

Fantastic weather and some even more fabulous cars to get close too. Never seen such a cool traffic jam !!
Thanks for the usual warm welcome. Sorry we wasn't 'that' sociable in the day. We've never been to that
event before and just spent the whole day soaking up the fantastic weather and atmosphere.

Many thanks for the organising, and the free tickets was an extra bonus !! ..... can I put my name down for next year ?? Wink

I think we should go in the ring next year and show off some 'just as fun, but affordable' cars.

I did take a couple of pics ...... i'll try and get them up later. Yes

Crikey, I'm a little late in the 'thank you' dept but THANK YOU to all that had an input into bringing us all together, was worth the early start and, like Ady I'm sorry for not being a little more sociable as my mate and I got caught up in the main arena watching mad blokes on bikes!

Cracking result on the loudest exhaust comp, 4th if I remember rightly? Albeit a little toungue-in-cheek I still think a '5 sounds better than a rusty old American banger!!!

Loving the photos above guys, see you soon. Big Smile
