    Mister H:

I e-mailed our pre-registration for the Mk3 car competition on 26th February and I have still not been granted the courtesy of a reply.

Would it not be possible to at least confirm receipt of the e-mail? Also it would be nice to have the entry confirmed fairly soon, preparation of a competition car begins weeks before the event and the Spring Rally is now little more than a month away.

I sent an e-mail on 28th January, and have since sent several more, and a PM, and have had replies to none...........Don't know

Just printed off the splendid runs and I am now surrounded by o.s maps and Hi-lighting  the different routes, what a pleasant task to do on this wet and windy morning, at least it will be sunshine all the way for the rally. Padstein, Piskie's and Pastie's are definately calling.

I will be posting up some actual maps of the routes as well shortly, that Julian has kindly produced, along with Tomtom itn route files.... Thumbs up

HJ2, you may be interested in this free piece of route-planning software: http://www.tyretotravel.com/  It enables you to plan routes on Google Maps, you can drag-and-drop the route to take in particular roads, add points of interest, view areas using Street View etc etc and then export to TomTom, Garmin, Google Earth, create "road map" and much else besides.  I use it a lot with my TomTomSmile

I have no connection with it, just a happy user Smile

Thank you JulianK for the I.T info, but my Sat Nav is either me or the Wife(Sat Nag) reading the route as neither of our cars pocesses such  gadgetry. One day perhaps we might move into the present, until then we will just follow the sun and keep the sea on our right!

My First Rally and first club meet so looking forward to meeting everyone.

Is anyone else camping at Pennance Mill Farm?

My parents live in Cornwall but I thought it would be fun to camp and it's a lot closer.

    Hi David

There are no led runs. The routes have been developed for individual members to explore independantly. There is no specific time to start off.

Any tickets you have pre-booked through the Rally booking form will be issued soon along with any further information if necessary.

    Enjoy your visit

    Hi Dave

Good to see you are coming to your First Spring Rally here in Cornwall.

We have spoken to Pennance Mill who have confirm around a dozen units have already booked, and their 2 chalets have been booked by Cornish Five.

This is a good sheltered site, just 2 miles from Falmouth and close to the Maenporth Beach for a morning dip.

    Enjoy your visit

Re: Spring Rally 2012, Got any questions ? Post here....

A few of our area have returned the form advising of the routes we wish to drive as requested, but what I don't understand now is why we had to advise this, if the drives are not being led? Seems a waste of a stamp to me, we should have all just been told to download the drive. It read to us that the routes were available to download for those wishing to try them on other days or in their own time whereas the Saturday was allocated for those wishing to do organised runs. I think many have read it in this way and perhaps it requires clarification?
