Likewise as regards STHT but how can anyone have booked  Blyton when the booking forms have not been issued ( unless there is something I dont know???) . In an earlier post Jon said that he did not think that this would be over subscribed,  but by the enthusiasm I think he might have been wrong. For what it is worth  why not make it a three day event!! friday and saturday as trackday only and then all the rest on Saturday/Sunday, a lot of us guys do trackdays midweek etc, so providing the the track is available on the friday it would let us blow the cobwebs out on friday and chill out on Saturday /Sunday. and if we are lucky we might get a few hours in on Saturday as well. It would be a shame if we couldn`t get on trackon the Saturday just because of the "luck of the draw " so to speak. Just had a thought that the track might be booked by someone else on the Friday which means that all this is a load of cods!!!

Re: MX-5 Owners Club 'Blyton Bash' - Who's Coming???

Been lurking on here and staying quiet to guage the reaction, but to put everyone's mind at rest:

NO-ONE has booked yet! NO bookings can be made 'till the Apr Ed of STHT. And yes, my comment in this Edition (Feb) may have been slightly misleading. Sorry Embarassed

Flyers had to be delayed until April due to the Spring Rally and possible confusion that two flyers for two very different events would have caused!!!

But as Mikey says above, my initial concern that this event will be left with spaces is becoming mild concern it'll book out quickly and leave some wanting...its our first full-on Motorsport weekend so very much a steep learning curve.

Hi, having been there when it was only concrete runway, i can't wait to try the tarmac. Count me in for both days. Will probably visit with MOT beforehand too. Smile

That was a while ago , I think I was there too at the same time, you`ll notice a big difference in the track surface now and the layout to what it was then, even though it was fun it was a bit basic and the top hairpin was always dusty and tended to throw you off !!!! I intend to do Blyton again before the big bash so might see you there
