My wife and i are newish members. We have booked to attend the spring rally in cornwall, I was wondering if any Yorkshire riding members are attending.It would be good to meet up.

Yorkshire Ridings are attending, and so far we have a small group booked in at the Premier Inn at Truro on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night for the Rally.

You will recognise cars from YR due to door magnets and window stickers, so don't hesitate to approach one of the club cars, and members and introduce yourself.

Nearer the time there may be an update on whether vehicles from Yorkshire will be travelling down together, if you care to email me at stevewright1961@yahoo.co.uk I can give you some more information about our region.

Please check this forum for details of club runs and socials, although I appreciate that you are at the East coast, some of our runs include a picnic at Whitby Abbey. And we have members from Scarborough, Beverley and Hull that come out on Sunday runs with the club.

Thanks for your reply, We are booked in to falmouth for fri/sat/and sunday.and then continuing up the bath for a couple of days. We are looking forward to this event and meeting other enthusiasts.I keep having a look at the ridings site and will try and catch up with you all in the next few month,s

 Hi Glenn, We are meeting  some friends from Scotland on the M6 and travelling down with them. We are also sharing a holiday cottage in Falmouth with them but doubtless we will meet up with everyone at Pendennis Castle. We are going over to Brittany after the Rally for a short holiday. Maybe have a look at Le Mans I just hope the weather is good  Cheers.  Rick

Thanks for your post ,Angela and I have had a great drive out this aft with top down ,We ended up through the esk vally up to rosedale ,fryup and back through glaisdale.bit chilly on the top of the moors, but great none the less.We will catch up in pendennis. Your French trip sounds great.

Hi Glenn,

Rick and Julie will be attending the Rally as we are renting a house in Falmouth with friends from Scotland. We live in Catterick North Yorks and are members of Yorkshire Ridings and the NESC clubs and enjoy runs with both when possible. We would be happy to meet up with you, are you doing any of the planned runs? We arrive Friday night and are staying close to the Rally venue.

Will keep eyes open, although I won't be joining M5 till about 16:30 junction 16

Angela and I are hoping to arrive around tea time. We are staying in the Falmouth hotel and had thought about wandering down to the harbour on the friday night to watch the firework display and have a couple of drinks etc. I was thinking of doing the best of the west run but they all sound great.
