had the car for a couple of weeks and really enjoying it.

occasional (2 or 3 times a journey) the clutch pedal will "click" as though something has not quite released properly.

mainly does it in 3rd to 4th changes, occasionally 2nd to 3rd and occasional 5th to 6th.

i can not replicate the click when parked up in neutral by repeatedly pressing the clutch pedal.

the green insert on the pedal which pushes the switch (not sure what the switch is for) is in place and fine.

any ideas what this problem may be please?

and if anyone can tell me what the switch is for on the clutch pedal that would be great.

It's the clutch pedal position switch, tells the engine ECU what position the clutch pedal is in and therefore if the car is in drive or not.

thanks, anyone any ideas what the clicking might be?
