Because people don't like buying second hand tuning bits and would also rather pay a premium for someone else to do the engineering for them.
I've got £500 quids worth of secondhand and home made turbo bits on mine, and I'm very happy with the reliable 160bhp it makes. Although I can totally understand why people with more money to spend would buy a new kit.
