Meeting Place - PEASE POTTAGE SERVICES on the M23. Postcode: RH11 9AE [South of Gatwick - Junction 11 – A264 Horsham ]

This ia a scenic drive through West Sussex and the Southdowns National Park to West Itchenor & Chichester Harbour via Petworth, Goodwood Racecourse & Bosham Harbour. Shopping & afternoon tea at Bosham.  Chartered Cruise round Chichester Harbour,  followed by a fish and chip supper overlooking the sea and the setting sun in the Bracklesham Bay area.

Timings.

1430hrs  : Depart Pease Pottage Services on the M23

1600hrs : Bosham Village and Harbour. Explore this delightful village - shopping - Afternoon Tea etc.

1715hrs  :Depart Bosham & drive to West Itchenor Car Park. [Postcode PO20 7AH ]

1830hrs : Board our Chartered Boat for an evening Cruise with Chichester Harbour Water Tours. Access is via a  floating pontoon and the boat is an ex- lifeboat.  Refreshments & crisps/snacks are available on board. 1930hrs approx: Disembark and return to West Itchenor Car Park.

2000hrs :Fish & Chip Supper, Bracklesham Bay area to watch the setting sun over the sea!! Cost & details to be advised.

There are Pay & Display Car Parks @ Bosham & West Itchenor.   Allow £5 in £1 coins.The Water Tour/ Boat trip will be less than £10 per person. I have paid a £50 deposit, but the final cost will depend on the numbers,  as the cost will be divided equally. 25 Persons is the minimum. Payable to me on the day + cost of Fish & Chips. I will arrange a bulk order to collect from an appropriate chippy in the Bracklesham Bay area.NB:         PLEASE BRING  WARM/ WINDPROOF CLOTHING FOR THE BOAT TRIP.

The boat is covered, but Chichester Harbour is open water & likely to be windy!Full Route details given out on the day. I have limited the event to approx. 15 cars due to possible limited parking at the stops. I need to know the numbers of people who would like to come on the Water Tour of Chichester Harbour and if you will want to continue afterwards for a fish and chip supper ………………so please let me know as soon as possible by replying on the forum or by email please.Email : paulclea@gmail.com

 This was a really nice cruise last time we did it, it's a shame it clashes with the Silverstone Classic or we'd come along Paul.  Have a great day.

As the parking could be limited at the stops, I have limited this to 15 or maybe 16  cars max. and I have now got 15 cars on my list of people who would like to come.

I can squeeze one more car, but thereafter I will have to hold a reserve list in case anyone drops out.  So please let me know if you would like to come on the run and Water Tour of  Chichester Harbour soon.
