    My Utopia... MX-5 Revive

Today I've discovered the location of mx5revive.com who are the first MX-5 breakers in the Eastern Region.

I popped over to visit Brian & April at MX-5 revive today to collect an exhaust for my RS and was amazed to find a full on MX-5 breaker/restorer, something the Eastern Region has been without since the beginning of time. And it's up there with the rest of them. Originally intending to just buy the exhaust, after having a browse through the stock I came home with a Mazda3 sized boot full of goodies. MX-5 revive will certainly be my first port of call from now on when I'm on the hunt for good used MX-5 parts at a great price.

Check out their website at www.mx5revive.com or visit their eBay shop, mx5revive

Yes, these guys are not anything new, they were at the National last year (stand beside the Gymkhana arena)

They have lots of Mk2.5 stuff and used to be based at Thorney Toll.

It always makes me wonder why places like this seem so "undiscovered" - I have visions of a little old lady sat behind her stall wondering why nobody is buying her cakesEmbarassed

    Re: My Utopia... MX-5 Revive

    Hi Everyone,

for those of you that don't know about us. We are a small family run business that started in the MX-5 world only last June 2011. The story began when my partner April saw a second hand MX-5 Phoenix in Titanium Mica Grey being offered for sale, duely bought and the business idea came to being "what about used parts". Nearly a year on and we believe we offer one of the largest used stocks for MX5 mk1, mk2 and mk 2.5 models and mk 3's later this year.

We are based between Peterborough and Wisbech at Thorney just off of the A47. Open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am -12noon (collection of parts is available outside of these times by prior arrangement). Mail order is probably 80% of our business via a next day service or Royal mail 1st class recorded for smaller items. We can be contacted during office hours on 01733 271457 or any other time on 07742411297 or via email info@mx5revive.com

We are also proud sponsors of Jack Sycamore car # 91 for this years mx5 race series and will be attending most of the race series with Jack where we will also be carrying a van full of spare parts for mk1 cars to help keep him running and other racing drivers. We will also be attending the National event in Cornwall and other OC events this year.

For anyone wanting to visit us in person, please call ahead so we can at least have the kettle on.Big Smile

    Brian & April.

A great idea for an early morning run from Norwich to Thorney, Via Swaffam and Downham etc.......

Would make a water tight excuse for missing the weekly sainsbury's run! Rolling eyes

Will mention it to the Norfolk Faithfull at the next meet Smile

    Re: My Utopia... MX-5 Revive

Just want to say thank you to Brian and April for excellent customer service, ordered a fuel purge valve and spme trim yesterday afternoon and arrived this morning and all now fitted. Also they were both very apologetic because I had not been called back within the period they said they would, although I had not been pushing for a response.

Keep up the good work, thanks again
