Curborough Sprint track - introduction to sprint April 15th 2012
Not an official NWM event, but right on our doorstep and I know a number of our members are going along to have a go...
the day starts at 10 am and last entry is 1pm.
the track is located between Lichfield and Kings Bromley, (turn right off the A515 and follow the brown signs!) more info can be found at www.curborough.co.uk/introtosprinting.htm
I'll be there...... spectating!!

Am concerned Teri, you DO remember me but thanks for the greeting..... No, I need to check with Tony me buddy as he told me I was going but not heard owt since. Some guys from a garage in Stafford going and mucking in with them too. Not sure if Karen coming or not, bit boring for the ladies and a bit exposed there and little place to shelter.
Be a laugh as ever and poor Betty will as ever suffer in silence.....

Re: Curborough Sprint track - introduction to sprint April 15th 2012
I'm heading down and looking forward to it!
See you folks there, but what time are you lot arriving? I was looking to arrive as close to 10 as possible. (I look forward to hearing Chris' twin exit exhaust going round :O)
Do we need anything other than ourselves and a vehicle?

Planning to take my little striped car along..........Might be some more work for Chris and Dan afterwards as I'm going to have a go AND I've been very brave (daft) and told my youngster she can use my car to have a go at this as well - but have asked her very nicely not to break it!

Hi Mick,
Last time I saw this done it was by John from Mazda on Track, and his car was buried in the hedge by a wonderfully enthusiastic partner on a very wet day just off the main straight at Curborough.
Don't want to worry you though, see you on sunday and will bring some gaffa tape and superglue for you just in case......

Re: Curborough Sprint track - introduction to sprint April 15th 2012
Chris sounds like you are in the chair, generous offer. Thankyou. As far as lap times Rosie and Tony are best suited to this. Tony is a far more restrained and applied driver than my all over the place have a go whatever style which generally means slower laps. And as Rosie sticks like snot to the road now it's a done deal.
Should be an interesting day to see the many different Marques there.
See you friday morning Chris, something catching on the nearside on bumps, mudflaps maybe?
