    newbie

    Embarassed

    Hi just realised there's a link to local club! Did introduce myself on main forum by way of excuse!

    We have owned our mx5 for a whole two weeks selling my trusty old Harley for a 2003 1.8 Sport with hardtop, which is a must for my wife (mainly because of where she needs to park!) she gets to use it for daily transport but only if I get to play at weekends (no bike means I WILL get bored)

    I fell in love with the 5 driving it from the garage it was only today that my wife finally drove it (previous was a FTO she'd had for 8 yrs) My wife does not brag about anything but I got an email from her at work saying she loved the car!!!!!!!!! she is also planning trips out with the top down and a silk scarf with her sister good grief!

    So far I have ordered parts to build a cold induction kit, my own version at this point not one to spend big bucks on something that will cost me pounds without the designer labels and 8 yrs of tinkering with the FTO taught me a few tricks!, ordered up a alarm with a microwave sensor system just add on to the primary OEM immobiliser. re jigged the hardtop as it wasn't fitting quiet right now its a easy 5 min on or off!  and I'm sure much more will follow.........when wifey is not looking !

    Oh yes and she has just anounced that it trip to Italy would be nice in the 5 {#emotions_dlg.indif}

    we have lived in Whiteley since '96

    things to do .....join the club proper like and we're off to Cornwall in her, first week in May!
