Geeked [8-|] MX5OC Helmet Group Buy

The Club has decided to replace the (rather tired looking) Club Helmets with 10 shiny new ones.

We decided to go for an open face design as it allows easier communication and instruction whilst on-track and many have commented that the old full-face helmets are quite restrictive.

As part of our purchase we can offer Club Members the opportunity to jump on the group buy and have the helmets delivered to Blyton ready to be used at the Club event. Sorry, but I cannot send helmets out individually as the postage costs become crippling.

Anyone that would like a Helmet please note that we will be pre-ordering these through Demon Tweeks, as such, if you say you would like one, then you are committed to the purchase. The Club will pay the full invoice and then send out purchase invoices.

Cost: £56.20 DELIVERED TO BLYTON and includes a protective helmet bag.

Sizes: measure carefully around the head, just above the ears, horizontally around the forehead and crown. Sizes are CM.

    Small: 56-57CM

    Medium: 58-59CM

    Large: 60-61CM

    XLarge: 62-63CM

My email address is in my signature block (below), please email me if you would like to be added to the list and only order if you intend to buy Big Smile

I'll confirm the order at the end of the month, order list added below:

    CONFIRMED ORDERS:

    MX5OC:

    2 x Small

    3 x Medium

    3 x Large

    2 x XLarge

    Members:

    Martin C: 2 x Medium

    Andrew G: 1 x Small

    Derek H: 2 x Medium

Those look really nice. Ideal for the job.

Can I just raise one safety point though? These helmets are made of ABS rather than glassfibre. Nothing wrong with that but I noticed on the old helmets (also ABS) that you'd written with permanent marker and also put some stickers on.

While that's fine for a fibreglass helmet the solvents in the pen and in the stickers glue affect the thermoplastic shell of the helmet and can seriously compromise the strength of the shell.

Can I urge you to keep identification marks to the inside padding of the helmets?

    Betty,

Your absolutely right mate, the pen was not my doing (before my time in the sadlle) but the stickers are helmet friendly Big Smile

    Chaps,

Your helmets (and rather smart helmet bags) will be ready for collection at the welcome desk in the marquee at Blyton.

Preferred payment method: Cheque or we can sort electronic payment after the weekend.
