Hi i have a 1990 eunos 1.6 just got home on back of recovery truck -((( went for a drive and about 2
Mile from my house it cut out and wont restart, the rac man said the crank wasnt turning ( he was looking through oil filer cap)
Please help only had car 6 weeks spent loads already ie hood chrome etc

If he's looking through the oil filler cap/hole it's the camshaft thats not turning, Snapped cam belt!!!!!!

It just cut out all belts are still intact from what i can see, it was like it ran out of fuel, the rac bloke said that cam wasnt turning when i was trying to fire her up, as he was looking through oil filer cap, thats all i know no warning lights are on all fuses are ok

Ok, Your cam belt has failed, it might be still in place but the teeth on the belt have stripped, you are looking at the belt under the domed cam cover and not the alternator belt are you, don't worry though it's an easy fix.

Check for flash codes/fault codes before you do or take her anywhere, but i would Check the CAS ,
