    Electric window regulator for mk2

    'Ey up.

The cable on my near-side electric window snapped today :-(.

Research reveals that, unlike mk1's, the cables aren't available on their own and the whole regulator assembly has to be replaced. Hmm, not cheap - £112 from MX5 Parts.

Found this replacement on Ebay, though - quite a bit cheaper, and includes a replacement motor too. Anyone ever bought anything from this seller? Are the parts any good? Any other sources I need to be looking at?

    Thanks.

     Alright Garath

That units looks like the Mk 1 after market units i use for the 1's, but that unit being  for the MK 2's, if it is the same unit make, then it is sh*t hot buddy smoother and faster than the OE unit, and glad to see that they have made them for the 2's.

Please feel free to P.M me with any problems or questions.

Bloody hell! What's happened there?! I go off on holiday for a week, thinking I'll order a regulator from that Ebay seller when I get back ... and now that I'm home, the price has jumped from less than £70 to £200! Sod that for a lark. :-(

     Mx5revive,

Do you have any more of these in stock? There was a ping on my way home today and the cable has gone - the window is now held up by several cable ties.
