THE THORNFALCON CLASSICS ANNUAL LUNCH-TIME MEETING LAST YEAR, SUNDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER 2011, AT THE PARKLANDS, HENLADE, NR.TAUNTON, SOMERSET, WAS AGAIN A GREAT SUCCESS WITH ANOTHER RECORD ATTENDANCE OF OVER 1100 VEHICLES. MANY VISITORS CREDIT THE POPULARITY OF THE MEETING TO ITS FORMAT: IT IS FREE OF CHARGE, NO BOOKING IS NECESSARY, COME AND GO, AS AND WHEN YOU PLEASE. THERE IS A CHOICE OF FOOD AVAILABLE TOGETHER WITH A LICENCED BAR. IT IS PRIMARILY A LUNCH-TIME MEET, FROM 11.00am TO 2.30pm BUT MANY PEOPLE ARRIVE MUCH EARLIER AND SOME STAY LATER. The average number of exhibits often exceeds the one thousand mark! It is a meeting, not a show, so your vehicle does not necessarily have to be in pristine condition. Most makes are represented, from the mainstream to the obscure, including commercial vehicles, motor bikes and tractors. Last year a vintage combine harvester arrived!

As I say this one is well worth a visit and is just off the M5 jcn 25. You and any other fellow MX-5 enthusiasts will be more than welcome. Last year there were over 30 MX-5's at the show. Hope you decide to come. Regards Julian

Just as you leave the M5 @ Jcn 25 on the A358 direction Ilminster on the left is the Blackbrook Tavern. I would suggest we meet there in the car park from 10am with a view to moving off for the Meet @ 10.30am See you there

This show has got better year on year and the move to Mount Somerset Hotel has ensured it continues to grow.

Should be another good one. All being well we'll be there.

 Hi,

The wife and I would like to join you in our 1991 Eunos Auto if that's ok. We live in Weston-super-Mare and come under the Western Area but no-one seems to be going from there. Anyway, if we could tag along that would be great.

 Western are attending, but we haven't sorted a meet up point yet!

It was nice to meet you yesterday at the recycling centre at Taunton. I was the fellow merlot owner admiring your csr.  Hope to meet up for the Thornfalcon show as my car should be  fixed by then.  Is the meeting point at the Blackbrook Tavern at 1000am?
