My battery warning light comes back on after about 15 seconds of starting up the car ( Mk2.5. Nevada 1.8 ,03 plate) . The belts are all tight and the situation has only just started. I have a nearly new bosch battery fitted. I can only think the faulot started after I tried to attach one of the EML 327 bluetooth OBDII connectors the other evening. I had to wiggle the OBDII connector a couple of times just to get it to slip onto the socket near the fusebox (near the bonnet release lever). I have read that sometimes the fault occurs not as a result of a failure in the alternator but a break in the wiring from the alternator. I wonder if I have damaged a wire from the OBDII socket. Can anyone shed any light. The car has been running really well up to now.
