    Your MX5's name?

     My son asked me what we should call the car................He suggested "Bolt" as it's black and fast!....not bad for an 11 year old to come up with that.....any other names out there?

    Not very creative, but then the two others are called "Big Boy" and "Bianca" lol

    I'm sorry. I cannot give my MX5 a name, nor any of the 3 previous ones. Its an inanimate object. Naming the car is just one step away from talking to it at night, and two steps from incanting the MX5 Owner's Creed (look up Rifleman's Creed).

    Agreed..... with a passion!! Just submitted an article to STHT about this very subject. I get attached to inanimate objects but I've never felt the need to give any of them pet-names....

     My kids called my car Zoom Zoom then again they have just got a kitten and called that / it  Barabra Don't know poor kitty

    The wife called mine the "Red ***" so it is now on the number plate.

    Have a red 1.6 called Rueban...... a silver harvard named Harvey.......had a Gleneagles which was called Glenda at the same time I had a BRG 1.8 which was called Brenda

    and my psychiatrist is called Frank.............
