Anyone got really good pictures of the record attempt? Our local press want to do an article. Any or the lead cars and the Union Jack?

 To everyone involved, what a fabulous weekend.

If you were in car during the record attempt it would have actually been hard to get an overall view. If I post up this picture to give you an idea.

The pictures that come after this were taken from the point where the old Rally Cross circuit left the main tarmac, so roughly half way up the picture on the right hand side. To try an put into perspective the number of cars, as you can see from all the pictures taken, the cars were pretty close. Well, once past the point I was stood, the cars turned right and along toward the little white buildings on the far right of the picture, the track entrance. It was only when the lead cars were about 25 yards short of starting the lap again did the last cars enter the track, to that is two columns on MX-5's all the way around the track. You just kept coming and it was certainly a magnificent sight to see.

I don't quite know what's happened to the colours on the version Martin has posted, they should be much brighter like the image above.

It was a great weekend missed Bruce, but I hope you & dad did have some enjoyment that day.

The lesson to learn from it...................if P72 says he's organising something.................you have to attend . It was a great weekend & great to meet people, I'm seriously hoping all is well so I can make Prescott.
