Hi all
Jackie and Graham have put together a picturesque 55 mile drive through the villages of Suffolk and Essex.
The meet point is Tesco's, Milton, Nr. Cambridge. CB24 6AY - 9.45 am for a 10.15 am start.
Midway stop is Clare Castle Country Park, where we will stay for about an hour (£1.00 parking charge). Clare Antiques and Interiors will be open for you to browse, refreshments are available at The Mill at the front of the shop, or if you prefer you can wander around the park.
The second part of the run takes us through the villages of Essex, including Finchingfield, reported as being the most photographed in the area.
Finish point is Hatfield Forest, where you can enjoy a picnic, or refreshments are available at the Forest Cafe. You can go for a walk by the lake or visit the Shell House. This is a National Trust property and a £5.00 parking charge will apply. (NT members free).
