Update
Perhaps the rain last year has put people off as the response has been very low (only 1 other car), and there has been some confusion over the day. Baring this in mind we have decided to cancel the event. Apologies to Mick and Sally.
We may still go ourselves to the show (with our wellies and unbrellas!) and would be glad to meet up with any other members ad hoc.

Hi All
There was some talk at the start of the year to visit the Countess of Warwick show at Little Easton near Great Dunmow again this August Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday 26th). I'd like to gauge the amount of interest in this event as I can then request a group parking area for us.
For those who didn't go last year it is a classic English Country Show with a show ring and usually has the Essex Hounds, tractor competitions, morris dancing, falconry displays, etc. It also doubles as the village show with craft stalls, and art exhibition and refreshments (including a Hog Roast and Beer Tent). you can also stroll up to the Little Easton Gardens which are only open to the public a few times a year. More info can be found by 'googling' Countess of Warwick Show
There are some classic cars on display and I hope that although we won't be exhibiting our cars like at cressing temple, we should be able to get parked up together.
We will arrange a run up to the show and could book a pub meal for later if desired.
If interested please add to the thread or PM
