Does anybody have any info on the optional extras choices when buying a MK1 RS/R limited from New?
Im led to believe there was a side "skirt" option or rather bolt on side parts for these?

There was a side trim, but it wasn't a RS/R-Limited exclusive part. It was more like a sill cover in black ABS plastic (to match the lip spoiler) than a decorative piece.
Very rare, though there are FRP replicas about.
That could hide alot of rust!
I have these on my S Special - I think they look great. They are more of a rubber material than abs.
Thanks. I have the identical ones on my R Limited. Yes they do appear to be rubber ish. The rust comment is valid as well. I take mine off regularly.
Was thinking of removing totally and selling hence the questions.
