 We had a Micra up until a couple of years ago - does that count? (Sold it to help pay for the MX5!) And I had a Honda CB250 in my yoof - oops, that only had 2 wheels ...

 well i did state what jap,so think i can accept your post ,i passed my test in a micra in 1984,it  even had a sprung loaded gear change .

I had a Gen 6 Celica ST (the one with the bug eyes) while I was at uni. It was the most basic model and now I drive a detuned 1.6. What is it with me buying the slow ones?

I haven't had any other Japanese cars apart from an ancient and very horrible Datsun Cherry but I've had a multitude of Japanese motorbikes starting with a 1972 Suzuki T250 Hustler and culminating with a Kawasaki ZRX1100 with many many others in between.

Only a US-spec 1991 Honda CRX HF 1500.

Otherwise, its been a 1992 Eunos Roadster S-Package (1997), 1991 Eunos Roadster S-Package (2000), 1996 Eunos Roadster S-Special II (2005 until now) and a 1993 Eunos Roadster M2-1002 (2006 to 2008).

I've had loooooads of cars, but the only other Jap Cars i've had are :

1998 Suzuki Vitara Soft-top
1998 Suzuki Baleno Saloon

I do have some pictures somewhere, i'll have to try and dig them out.
I loved the Baleno, I did tweak it about a bit.

The Vitara I bought brand new and hated every second of ownership. That was the worst car decision i've ever made.
Paid £12,500 for it too !!! 

 The M991 COR Skyline looks awesome

First one was a UK 94 Subaru Legacy Turbo, fantastic car, super reliable, ended up being a stage rally car. Then bought a fresh Jap import 1998 SF5 Subaru Forester STB, this was a minter you could eat your lunch off the underside of the thing it was that clean, but engine let go after three months of ownership so spent mega bucks having it rebuilt plus other mods by API Impreza, then had to have the suspension changed so it could cope with the 280+bhp engine, then regrettably sold it for peanut money to my Brother. 

 i had that one in 2007,paint job was already done cyan purple,it was running around 312bhp,when i rolled it at power engineering,it was up for sale on pistonheads 2 months a go,i nearly became the owner again ,i think i will get another sometime in the future,but even these suffer from rust now.
