I need to replace the cstle nuts on both track rod ends on my 1995 Mk1. I understand that these days they've been replaced by nyloc nuts. Can anyone tell me what size/thread pitch and maybe a supplier please?

There are some on fleabay but £5 plus for 2 nuts seems a bit excessive to me.

That's good timing, did a track rod end on my Mk1 Saturday so the old one was still in the garage.

Thread is M12 x 1.25mm. Mine still had the castle nuts fitted.
