Now that I've been reminded of it (thanks), I probably will as it's only down the road from me.

Later in the month there is wings and wheels at Dunsfold.

Re: Cranleigh Classic Show 19/8/12 - this Sunday.

Had a great day out which didn't include going to the Show.

We trundled down there arriving a c.0900hrs and then sat in a queue in Cranleigh High Street for over an hour travelling about 1/2 mile.

Seeing life passing by and despite it being one of the most eclectic queues ever we decided, along with numerous others, that life was too short so turned around and headed for home.

The drive there and back was excellent and we managed two acoustic runs through Hindhead.

Maybe next year but we'll be leaving at dawn....

    Cheers, Twofives.

My SatNav took me a strange route with the result that I approached from the north side of Cranleigh. The queue was about 15 mins to get in, I arrived about 10:00.

The classic cars were still arriving up to around 11:00, so I  would suggest that is a good time to arrive (in a non-classic).

A very large selection of classic cars (including about 3 MX5s) - curiously not always displayed together by make. I wish more owners would stick some information about their car on the windscreen though.

I was very tempted by an immaculate Porsche 944 that was on sale. If I only I had more off-road parking  Sad
