This year is going to see the Eastern Region re-vitalising the very popular convoys to the Suffolk and Norfolk monthly meets,
all with easy access starting points for everyone in the region. These convoys are an ideal way to meet like-minded enthusiasts
and ease yourself into the Eastern Region social scene and make the most of your roadster.

SUFFOLK MEET :

The Suffolk meet is held on the 1^st Wednesday of every month at The Manger, Bradfield Combust, Suffolk, IP30 0LW starting at 8pm.

There are two convoys running to this meet starting at the following :

1.       Beacon Hill Services, Junction A140/A14 (J51) IP6 8LP. Departs at 7.30pm

2.       Little Chef, Whichford Road, Ely, Cambridgshire, CB6 3NN. Departs at 7.00pm

NORFOLK MEET :

The Norfolk meet is held on the 3^rd Wednesday of every month at The Countryman, Tasburgh, Norwich, NR15 1NS (A140) starting at 8pm.

There is one convoy running to this meet starting at the following :

1.       Beacon Hill Service, Junction A140/A14 (J51) IP6 8LP. Departs at 7.00pm (OK Chris ?)

 What about a convoy from Norfolk to the Suffolk meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month?

Say Meet and start at the Breckland Lodge Hotel in Attleborough at about 7.15pm (The hotel is on the first exit off the A11 roundabout at the West End, (ie the furthest from Norwich end) of the Attleborough by-pass). Its the first roundabout you get to after leaving the Thickthorn roundabout in Norwich, after about 14 miles!

I will be going to my first Suffolk meet on June 3rd I hope, and my first ever meet with my very own MX 5. Any takers might like to IM me.

 Good run over to the meet last night.  Anyone else see the new Ferrari behind me wanting to play on the section between Beacon and the Beagle?  Sounded lovely everytime he charged up behind me.

Was that a Ferrari Matt ?? I saw some plonker driving along with his lights on in the bright sunshine.
I actually thought it was an MX5 that we'd picked up along the way. Lol  !!!

 That plonker with his lights on was an 09 reg Ferrari, thought it was a Maserati as he first approached but think it was a Ferrari California?

 are you sure,?  we saw a very convincing looking red "Ferrari" fiat coupe in Yorshire, complete with Ferrari badges,!!!  he pulled up in petrol station with about 10 MX5s and I think felt a bit embarassed so drove off wi out actually getting any fuel...
