    Types of MX5's

Hi, have just bought a red mx5, 08 plate. I am slightly confused with all your mk1,mk2, mk2.5 etc. Can an expert help me brush up my knowledge?

MK1 also known as NA pop up lights

MK2 aka NB looks like this

    MK2

MK2.5 aka NB Face Lift several changes but looks similar to the MK2

MK3 aka NC looks like your

There is also an PRHT (Power Retracting Hard Top) which was also first introduced on the MK3 which looks like this

    MK3 PRHT

MK3.5 has only been around since earlier this year, and is similar to the MK3

It is a well know fact that red ones are faster.

What is less well known is that it rains less for blue ones. Big Smile

I thought I'd put this misconception to bed yesterday, I'm getting too tired and too old to worry about what the patchy pink brigade thinks the best colour is.....Big Smile

(BTW, I think you'll find the best shade's green, Or possibly blue....... Yellow's quite nice too though.......... Big Smile )

I went to the bank today to ask for a loan.
"What do you need the money for sir?"
    "It's for a car."
"Oh nice, what are you getting?"
    "Just some unleaded."
