Gonna hijack this thread abit now

I've just been given some shocks and springs for a Mk1, gonna sell them but I have literally no idea which is front or back, can't read the poundages, it's too faded and my own car is currently in a garage 3 hours away.

I'd have thought that the shorter ones were the front, and the longer ones the back, only makes sense, but I thought I'd check before I sold the wrong set to someone

You would have realised as soon as you tried to fit them the wrong way round...unless you like the jacked-up dragster look of course...

350 front, 250 rear. ir_427 on here has been through the mill with these and ultimately got them working very nicely. He might be able to point you towards what settings to use.

Hi all,

So I bought a set of ggp and have 8-250 and 9-350 springs. Shock part numbers are ggp2149 and 2420. Which are front and which are rear???
