Northern Ireland Spring Rally 2010 - The ER Tour now booking.

    Northern Ireland Spring Rally 2010 - The ER Tour now booking.

    The Eastern Region Spring Rally Ireland tour is now booking.  Its a week long tour starting in the South on Sunday 23 May and finishing at the Spring Rally on Saturday 29 May, with the run home on the Sunday.   Accommodation is in hotels, the tour is being organised by Continental Car Tours and the total package includes the ferries out from Fishguard and back from Holyhead.

    Several Eastern Members are now booked so its definitely now on. Big Smile

    And, dont forget your passport..!

     Since when did you need a passport to go to Ireland? We have been to Ireland three times in the last five years and didn't have one to take and we didn't have any problems.

    Southern Ireland you should take a passport.  Its a different Country !  I had to wave mine about when I went to Dublin earlier this year.. Its not compulsary aparently but highly recommended..

    Neil, we have a week long tour, about 4 ER cars and couples on that so far...  then we have a few people looking at going for the weekend... what do you fancy ? PM me your email address...Big Smile

    Take passport and driving licence with you. I have been stopped by the Gard previously, and asked to produce my "papers", when dring a car on a GB-plate. There is obviously no passport control on entry to Dublin, nor when crossing the border (in fact, there are a few wiggly roads in the Monahagn area that criss-cross the border repeatedly, so sometimes its difficult to determine, beyond the road markings, which country you are in).
