 The 2010 planning meet will be at The Manger, Bradfield Combust, just south of Bury St Edmunds from 8:00pm

This is your chance, to have your say, on what you will be doing in 2010! all ideas welcome.

During the meet we hope to thrash out a calender for the year ahead, runs, events, camping trips as well as museum trips and the National Events.

The ER depend on input for the events we do, we are successful because we like to change and keep things spiced up! We need you guys and girls to sprinkle the Chili Powder and keep u on our toes!

We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

 Will be there for this ....... have two events all planned for 2010, one of which I believe is a first for the club.

With the current waether forcast of heavy snow we may have to reschedule this meet.  Jamie and me will keep you posted here and by email.  No point in struggling over to the Manger and getting stuck...  Watch this space...!

We have decided to postpone the planning meet.  We will still go over to the Manger assuming we can get there and get back again safely but if you were going just for the planning meet then please don't feel obliged to turn out if the weather is bad....

Latest update.  Not going to Manger now, too risky.... Stay home in the warm..>!

 Just our luck, both home and looking forward to the meet yesterday when the snow descended so even the Punto stamped her feet and said NO.  Just a thought, how about an occasional Saturday or Sunday pub lunch meet so folk like us (if there are some) who can't make the weekday ones? In the end weather was a bit of a non event last night, probably still icy though, but the snow in Ipswich tonight is serious stuff, and having just driven about 3 miles home in it that was far enough... !

 I've noticed that some events have appeared in the Google calendar - has this event now been cancelled, or is it still deferred?

Hurray for Google Calendar,  I've been adding them as we go along so I can coordinate with lots of other events: World Cup finals, and the like.

We discussed it all at the Norfolk meet where a lot of the 2010 volunteers were present, and have now further tweaked the proposals, and I will run through it again at next Suffolk meet for those interrested.  So its nearly there...

Its nearly ready to be revealed.!  The 2010 ER Events Calendar..... Just need to tweak a few final bits, and we are good to go....  GCal will get updated soon.  Thanks to all those at the Norfolk and Suffolk meets who contributed and to the Cambridge lot as well as we have worked around and in with your stuff as well.

 Whilst appreciating it might be difficult for some and to get it organised, I would be a fan of a weekend meeting ocasionally. I do struggle for time on the weekdays also due to work commitments. My partner is a shift worker, but doesn't work weekends, he would then be able to get to a meeting for the first time.

We already have weekend meetings - albeit combined with a run or a trip to somewhere specific.

But we also have time for a social chat etc at the start or end of the run or at one of the stops.

Check out the calendar, it would be great to see you both at one of the upcoming events.

As Mister H says, the weekend runs are as social as the weekly pub meets and the first one next week will have plenty of time for chat etc...
