Yes, finally, after a long winter lay up Project Merlot will be back on track at Snetterton with Javelin Track Days on Saturday 20 March.  If you are interrested in driving then please get in touch ASAP, we should have a spare driver's seat.

It will be great to see plenty of the other ER track cars, passengers, and Merlot fans there.  Its some while since we last did Snetterton, so its a long overdue return.

If you are interested in driving then let us know, as we will be trying to get the car on track as much as possible in 2010.

For info we hope to make it to Woodbridge Airfield and current possible dates are, 27 March, 24 April, 22 May...

Would love to have another drive, but unfortunately this rib is healing very slowly so I'm reluctant to commit.

Mandy is working that day so I'll be there to offer some moral support - and maybe scrounge a passenger ride if I'm fit enough.

 Claire and I are off for a weekend in the 5 to the Rugby Area, but we will nip in for a visit if we passing.

Anyway, welcome aboard if you haven't already caught up with everyone. I suggest that you have a look through merlotmotorsport.co.uk to get a general idea and I'm sure Martin or Robbie will be along anytime to explain??!!

I may be down at Snetterton for part of 20th but my weekend is very busy and complicated so it may be fleeting or for a morning, with or without a car!!!

Sorry Paul, yes, I've woken up now!  Can you get along to Snetterton for a while?  Come along and see what its all about, go out for a passenger ride this time (small cost payable to Javelin), you can borrow a helmet, see what you think and then next time stick you name down as a driver...  If you can't make Snetterton I can fill you in with all the details at the next Norfolk meet...

We'll meet there, as it will be an early start for sign on and briefing at 8.30.     Passengers can come along any time to sign on.  Track time is 9.00 to 17.00...

Great day out with the Merlot again, dispite the demise of the power steering in the afternoon!  A bit of wet and bit of dry track but all good fun.  Lets dust off a few more of those Eastern Region track cars and get them all out next time.. .Come on guys, you are missing out...
