The first Eastern Region run of the year, Sunday 7 March.

A blast through West Suffolk: start point, Beacon Hill Services, A14 / A140 junction, mid morning stop at the Cafe, West Stowe Country Park, finishing around lunch time, The Manger Bradfield Combust. 

Arrive Beacon Hill about 10.00am to leave about 10.30.  West Stowe at about 11.30, The Manger about 13.30...

Those with long memories will recall this run from Easter 2005 and the first part features some of those great bits of road we have used recently for the Manger run.

A couple of weeks ago on the test run it was muddy in places, but reasonably pot hole free, amazingly enough.  Those who did the run in 2005 will well recall the massive puddle under the railway bridge near Kentford...  Well its still there!

If you want lunch at The Manger then I advise booking ahead.

Carole will be there earlier as there are free open days at West Stowe this weekend and will have a look around before you arrive.  Parking could be fun

Looks like me and Gill will be able to make this one ..... be a chance to see if I can see who owns Beacon Hill too.

Although it'll be light tomorrow so easier to spot ..... everyone take car of the MASSIVE pot holes in Beacon Hill Services.
